Sarah is a multidisciplinary artist, manager, and facilitator who mains sorcerers on her days off and whose professional work has been seen on Broadway (Slava’s Snowshow, Oklahoma!), off-Broadway (Puffs, Rock of Ages, Get On Your Knees), Internationally (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Toronto Next Stage Festival), and on Tour (Cruel Intentions, The Stand In). She has been designing gameplay experiences in performance spaces for over a decade, providing extensive development and game design integration on over 25 productions, brand activations, and client experiences. Curious Hedgehog is a story-driven live-stage entertainment game design company. A partnership between David Carpenter, Sarah Davis Reynolds, and David Andrew Laws, they are pioneering in-seat, interactive, experiential entertainment by building worlds that focus on RPG experiences for the live stage. Using the Gamiotics platform, they are providing agency and authenticity for audiences in their live experiences.

David Carpenter

Executive Producer / Technology Designer

David is proud to be a partner in Curious Hedgehog LLC along with Sarah Davis Reynolds and David Andrew Laws. David is the Founder and CEO of Gamiotics, Inc which is bringing gamification to the live entertainment experience. The platform allows for the next generation of live experience story-telling by putting agency into the audiences hands. A Tony-nominated Broadway producer, he was the lead producers of the 2019 Broadway run of critically acclaimed Slava’s Snowshow and the Off-Broadway hit comedy: Puffs, which ran in NYC for three years and is now the #2 most produced play in the country. Additional credits include: Executive Producer of Puffs: Filmed Live Off-Broadway, released nationally through Fathom Events. He produced Puffs in Australia for two years in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane and is the publisher of all four editions of the Puffs script.

Benjamin Doherty

Benjamin Doherty is a composer for film, TV and theatre based in Reading, England. Whilst freelancing as a composer, he also graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a First Class Honors in Creative Music Production. His work has been selected at BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals including: Aesthetica, deadCenter, Norwich Film festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival and Bolton Film Festival. Recent work includes: BAFTA and Academny qualifying shorts Nosepicker and Bleep, Fields a short in association with Sky Arts and the Sundance Institute supported short film, The Original Shareholder Experience. Scenic and Costume Design

K.C. is a production designer based in NYC and LA, working in theatre, film & television, and immersive experiences. They’ve worked with Sleep No More, The Public Theater, Theater For A New Audience, and live events such as Tom Ford for NYFW and The Brooklyn Artists Ball. They’ve filled a number of art department roles on projects with Netflix, WarnerMedia, White Castle, and Mattel. K.C. specializes in design for TTRPG media and has served as art director on several seasons of Dimension 20, including A Starstruck Oddessey, Neverafter, and Burrow’s End. Noah is a concept artist and character designer for animation, games, and comics. Recently, he has designed for Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, Final Space: The Final Chapter, and Beavis and Butthead. Lighting Designer

An accomplished designer, educator, and technician, Mike’s work has been seen on countless stages, screens, and in classrooms throughout the United States. He was the theatrical lighting designer for Rogers The Musical on Disney+/Marvel’s Hawkeye TV series, and has been working with Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty-Sided Tavern since 2022. In addition to his design work, Mike has served on the design and technology faculties of Marymount Manhattan College, The Collegiate School NYC, Hillsborough Community College, and Howard W. Derek and Ruby are dpurpurea studio, a theatrical and interactive entertainment design partnership based in Los Angeles. They utilize their theatrical experience in projections, lighting and scenic design to enhance audience interaction with the narrative of theater and live performance, filmed and broadcast media, and interactive experiences. They are the projection designers for Dropout’s Dimension 20, where Derek has also worked as the director of photography. M. Glenn Schuster

Sound Designer

Glenn is a sound designer originally hailing from San Francisco who exclusively plays Fighters and Barbarians. Recent productions include: A Raisin in the Sun (South Coast Repertory), This is Not a True Story (Artists at Play), Desert Stories for Lost Girls (Native Voices), American Fast (Constellation Stage and Screen), A New Brain (Celebration Theatre), Haunted Little Tokyo (Rogue Artists Ensemble/East West Players) and A Little Night Music (Greenway Court). Their work can also be heard in the games Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots and Foodimals (Sony), and in the Cottage Living and Dream Home Decorator expansions packs for The Sims 4 (EA). They obtained their BFA in Sound Design from the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Glenn also sits on the board of The Quinan Street Project, a theater education program that provides classes and camps to underfunded communities in The Contra Costa County of California, and has taught classes in Sound Design and Audio Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. Chet is a new media engineer based in Chicago. They are specialized in media server workflows, problem solving, and training. As a programmer, Chet has worked on and off broadway, international concert touring, opera, large scale corporate shows, broadcast, themed entertainment, and fixed installs. What they are proudest of is education, teaching hundreds of people various media server platforms. Michael is a director, improviser, actor and voiceover artist based in Brooklyn. His work has been seen on CBS and in cities such as New York, London, Minneapolis, Louisville, Little Rock, and more. He received a BFA from the Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program.
